Last night, after a busy day here at Happy Acres, I sat and played a little bit with my sketchbook. I used some of the new Gelly Roll Metallics I won recently.
I also used some of my favorite markers. They don’t seem to be “in” markers, but I really love them. It seems like I always come back to them when I’m playing on paper. They are Dotta Riffic markers made in Japan by Kuretake Company and I bought them online.

They have two different tips and they come in a variety of colors. They even have a blending pen. Even though these pens are large, they feel good in my hand. And they make the neatest dots!

I just love all of the bright colors! Thanks for dropping by.
What a pretty doodle! 🙂

Oh my goodness!! I have been trying to find out the name of those markers for ages!! They were popular years ago, and I had no money. now I want them and didn’t know their name or where to look for them. And, yes – thedots are exactly why I want them!! Love the page!
Trece, So glad I’m not the only one who likes them!! There is an ebay seller – agape – who I bought them from. Thanks for dropping by and commenting. Lynda
Lanie, Thanks!
Love this, the flowers especially! The colors are beautiful and feel very “retro” to me, like a 1970’s embroidered shirt 🙂

I hope that you don’t consider this spamming, but I still have a limited supply of Dottariffics on my web site, They are sadly no longer in production or I would get more in.

Samantha, I don’t know if they make them anymore. I’ve not seen them online or in stores for quite awhile. Sorry I’m no help.
