Sunday stroll around Happy Acres

It’s a great Sunday morning to take a stroll around our little piece of the world.

The hostas still look good in the front. The deer don’t seem to bother these. All of the others we have to spray.

Last year something ate all of our rosehips before I could harvest them. This year we are going to put a net over them.

So nice to see the blooms on the hostas. But that’s only because we’ve been spraying them.

I’ve been harvesting blueberries almost daily since the beginning of June. They continue to ripen.

These grapes are so lovely, but they never ripen. They get very little sun so they fall off before they are ready. This bed was made way before the maple tree grew to be a very large tree. If you look closely you see maple leaves. The grapes have grown up and pulled down one of the nearby maple branches.

Well, that’s it for today’s stroll. Have a wonderful Sunday and see you tomorrow for some fun in the sun art.
