Knitting Daily TV set contains four dvds, 13 episodes of Series 500 which is currently airing on public television stations.
This show is hosted by Eunny Jang, a knitter since age 3 and editor of the internationally successful Interweave Knits magazine. New this season is a “Knit-along” segment with Eunny and Zontee Hou, who walk viewers step-by-step each through a project from start to finish. There are three “Knit-alongs” in this series.
Regular features include Getting Started with beginner tips and a brush up of basic knitting skills; Designer Spotlight featuring authors and designers with unique styles; How To with more indepth lessons on favorite techniques, and the Crochet Corner.
The main focus of Knitting Daily TV is knitting and crocheting, but the show also features project ideas for felting, spinning, weaving, stitching, and other needlecrafts.
The show also offers 30 new free knitting and crochet patterns from the guests.
This series has something for everyone. Whether you are a beginner (like me) or a seasoned knitter, I believe you will enjoy this series.
I knitted a bit when I was a kid. My Aunt Irene was always knitting us booties and potholders. I always had problems knitting since I’m left handed until she bought me left handed instructions. Since reading The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs over our vacation and watching this dvd, I’ve been thinking about digging out those ole knitting needles.

Oh, I’d LOVE to win this DVD set. I love to knit and I’ve done a small amount of soapmaking.
I have everything I need to make some soap, but since I just had to move, I haven’t had time to make another batch.
I have 2 tips. First is that I keep an open jug of ACV when I make the soap. It will get any lye spill neutralized more quickly than a spray bottle will. Second is that I find my lye at ACE hardware store. In some places they have it behind the counter and you have to ask for it. In other places, you can just get it off the shelf in the plumbing section (read the label and make sure it’s pure lye, not just a drain opener.)

I’d love to have this CD, thanks for the chance. I watch this show, then twenty minutes late I’ve forgotten something I wanted to remember. I could tape it, if I weren’t always forgetting that, too!

This would be cool. I’m a beginner [still] and just finished my third project – scarf knitters unite! I would really love how to use double pointed needles and maybe make a pair of socks. Or something that’s not a scarf.

Only 10 comments? No way! I LOVE knitting almost as much as I do crocheting. I used to always watch HGTV when they had “Knitty Gritty” (rare, ’cause it was usually on the digital DIY station) and all the other craft shows. My local PBS station just stopped showing “Knit and Crochet Today” so I’ve been suffering from needlecraft show withdrawal, LOL. Thank you for the chance to win! Okay, so my sister’s calling, bugging me to enter this contest, haha. I know how to knit and purl, but usually I prefer to do freeform crochet work. It would be nice to learn more about knitting though, and “see” instead of just reading knitting instructions.
