My new friend and wonderful artist Katherine Sands makes lovely art and often works with her paint cloths. I bought a couple of her beauties for Christmas presents last year. Well, one of them I ended up keeping.
So I started using a piece of muslin as my paint rag. After I felt it was finished as a paint rag, I stamped on it with a couple stamps and some bubble wrap. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of the cloth before the stamping makeover.
I quilted it yesterday, using a piece of my snow dyed fabric as the backing. This is destined to be a little bag.

And then the back. I almost like it better than the front!!
And then a closeup.

I was going to wait to post this when I finished the bag, but just couldn’t contain my excitement. Thank you Kathy for your inspiration!

That will be a lovely bag-great colors!
Bev, Thanks. And these aren’t colors I usually work with so it was so much fun.
Gee thanks for the plug, Lynda!
Awww…this is so cute…I love the colors and I love the stamping motifs you chose. So fun!
Kathy, Thanks. Had to give credit where credit was due (think that’s something my Dad used to say!)
