The last couple days I’ve been sewing. I finally made something with this great material I bought at the thrift store. After that post, Hubby mentioned that he’d like an apron made out of that material. He volunteers on Tuesdays at a local soup kitchen and always needs an apron.

I used one of his old aprons as a pattern, cut it out and sewed bias tape all around.
Now he’ll be styling in his new one made by his wifey.

I was out yesterday, so I popped into Central Library to see the art journal display from journals and pictures taken during my Fearless Art Journaling class last Fall. These pictures aren’t the best since I was shooting through glass. It was neat to see a couple art journals from the class including mine and see those fun pictures.

Wow! Just looked up from the computer to see it snowing. Have a great day!
You cut off David’s face! I suppose the apron was the focus, but still…!

Kathy, Yes, I cut off his face. I don’t want him to get a big head so I cut his off! And it was about the apron, not him!
We’re in the same boat. I had fabric stashed for an apron for a long time before I finally finished mine. I don’t think hubby would wear the apron I made; it was too feminine. Yours turned out great!
