One of the other apps I used on vacation was Noteshelf. In the past when we would go on vacation I would make a journal for all of my notes. Here is one I used on one of our trips.
Since we were going to be so busy and suitcase/carry-on space was limited, I wanted to use my Ipad to record our trip. Originally I was going to use this app to draw in, but after I found the Paper app, I decided to just use this for documenting the trip.
What’s great about Noteshelf is you can set up different books for different ideas or topics. I used it for the different cities we visited.

I also liked that I could write freehand in this app. If I wanted to type I could, but I wanted to be able to just jot notes like I would if I had paper and pen.

I used those notes to complete my January Monthly Art Spread.

I’ll also use them to complete a photo book/scrapbook of our trip. The “pen” I used to write probably was not the best so if I intend to use this app much, I’ll buy one of the stylus they recommend. But it was great being able at the end of the day to open my Ipad and record our travels.
As far as the monthly journal spreads, the jury is out on whether I like these small spaces. It feels confining so far, but maybe I’ll change my mind as the year goes by.
Wow – thanks for sharing! I’ll be checking this out. I like the idea of having the ability to document easily on my iPad. I like to take trip notes, too, but usually don’t have time to get a journal organized ahead of time.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely check it out, even though I don’t find it so easy to write with the styluses.
