Let’s Shop Small

Today is Small Business Saturday, and I wanted to share with you a few of the small businesses owned by women I know. If you are looking for something special, I bet you can find it in one of these shops. If you purchase from them, please let them know that Lynda sent you.

Carole and I go all the way back to high school, and that’s a long time! She has been making pottery for as long as I can remember. Her pieces are elegant. This one especially caught my eye.

She offers a variety of pottery from bowls and mugs to spice jars and vases. I bought a lovely mug from her awhile back.  Check out her shop here.

Sara Rhoades is  a local artist I met awhile back at a local gallery, although I had seen her over the years at art fairs with her beautiful jewelry, and  her unique artistic soap creations. She is having a Small Business 20% OFF sale now through 11/30 on her store’s website, The Confectionery. She also has recently opened up a storefront in Evansville, Indiana. Here is just one of her lovelies. Check out her shop here.

Jaime is another local artist I’ve known for years. She creates beautiful paintings that can be purchased as wall art, or she turns them into calendars and note cards. Her paintings are full of life and fun and the subjects range from animals and vegetables to flowers and trees. She also is selling some beautiful painted ornaments. Check out her shop here.

Then there is Judy Sall aka Judy Tie Dye. I’ve known her for years, but have never met her in person. She’s a talented dyer, and also makes some beautiful coiled bowls. Really anything she touches turns out fantastic. Here is just one of her lovely pieces in her shop. You can find her shop here.

Sherry is another one of those artists friends I’ve never met, but I feel like I’ve known for a lifetime.  She recently opened her Etsy shop with her beautiful bags and artwork. Opening of her shop encouraged me to open mine. She’s having a Cyber2020 sale now with everything 15% OFF through December 2. Love this table runner. Check out her shop here.

And then of course, I  have to mention my Etsy shop.

I’m also running a Cyber2020 sale of 15% OFF through December 2. I’ve added a couple of my cards, some scarves, and these little bags that are perfect to carry a mask and sanitizer or other stuff. This one is made from my indigo-dyed fabric. Here is a link to my shop.

Happy shopping. Hope you are having a great weekend.
