How can it be December? I’m so far behind on everything it seems. However, I did get some things done recently!
I dyed four pieces of clothing for my doctor who is expecting in January. The first two are ice dyed. The others are low immersion.
If you are new to my blog and/or new to ice dyeing, my online class, Icy Delights has been retired and is now on my You Tube for FREE. You can find all of the videos and pdfs there. Check out this link.
Then I made this coasters for my women’s group. I like to make them something every year. This year it is all about upcycling so the backs are old jeans and the fronts are from a canvas shower curtain I bought for next to nothing at a thrift store!
I also sewed a few more of those tissue holders with my fabric. Ally had to get in the picture!
We finally put our little tree up. It doesn’t take long which is a good thing.
Lastly, I just posted on Substack about my grandma’s quilts. If you are interested, here is the link. One of the things I’m going to do right away is get all of my brother’s damaged quilts out and cut out any usable pieces to upcycle. Here is just one of his that I need to work on.
Well, that’s all for now. I hope you are having a creative December. How can this year be almost over?? Thanks for dropping by.

Hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year.
I loved the picture of your brothers old quilt. I don\’t recognise the pattern and was curious as to what it is?
Hope you have a wonderfully peaceful and creative 2026.
