I’ve been working on a new art journal for the month of August. The last time I created a daily art journal was in October, so I think it’s time to start again.
This one has watercolor pages with a paint cloth soft cover. I’ve not combined a fabric cover with paper pages so this should be interesting. I won’t bind the inside pages to the cover until they are completed. I’ve got a bit of sewing on the cover to finish before that happens, but I have all month!
I like to paint the pages before getting started. I love all the pretty colors – a real happy journal!

Hi Lynda, I’ve just caught up with this one! (a bit behind with all that’s been happening.) I LOVE the way you have coloured these pages – they just SING! And as you say, it is going to be a really happy book. Look forward to seeing how they end up!
