Well, Wednesday afternoon wrapped up my five-week “Fearless Art Journaling” at the East Branch Library. We had such a fun time.
The last session was using stamps for our lettering and then making them our own. We just didn’t have enough time to get everything done.
Karen again did not get in a photo, but I did get her in the group shot. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get this many women to stand still for a picture?

I received this art journal to fill from Art Camp For Women. My students will be completing these pages before I send it back. Playing in these pages will give them the opportunity to try some of the techniques they learned in class.

Teresa, who sets up the classes at the library, made me this cute journal. The cover is canvas drop cloth. I can see paint on this big time!
I had bought one of those drop cloths a while back but haven’t done anything with it. Teresa has made curtains and all kinds of neat things with the material. Another project for my list!

I was so surprised at what I learned from the group and how talented they all were. I really love to teach. There is something about sharing with others and seeing them get excited. What a great experience!
Dear Lynda and Connie,
The last 10 weeks of art classes have been so much fun and you both are wonderful teachers. I have so enjoyed getting to know all the ladies in class and seeing what beautiful artwork everyone made. I will miss seeing Karen each week (I’ll visit her at Michael’s) and I’ll probably run into Lynda in there since I think she must live there from all the great supplies she has! Liz, Pat, Lisa, Carolyn, Linda, Carole, Deanette… we will all see each other at the Holiday Tea and hopefully at the new monthly get-togethers I hope Teresa plans for us!!! Happy Painting ~Carla
Wow,Lynda, it looks like you majorly started something! You had a big class. It looks like they all had fun and did some wonderful journaling. You did not advertise this class on your blog, did you? I don’t remember seeing anything about signing up for it.
Kathy, We had 14 students, but a couple had to drop out. They did have fun and so did I! I didn’t advertise it on my blog since it filled up so quickly. It was on the library website. Lynda
