I’ve been playing with the David Tutera Paper Crafts Celebrate card line I received last week. Now it’s time to show you what I’ve made from that haul. This line will be available soon exclusively at Jo-Ann Stores.
Talk about easy (and fast) card making! Here is one of my cards that took hardly any time to put together.

Before I show you how I made it, let me tell you about this easy, fast three-step system for making cards.
David Tutera Paper Crafts Celebrate Card line products are packaged into three different packages according to the steps. Each package is labeled Step 1, Step 2, or Step 3.
Here are the three easy steps:
Step 1: Choose the card base. The cards come in a variety of sizes including 5.5 inch x 5.5 inch, A1, A2 and A7. They also come in a variety of colors.

Step 2: Select decorative layers. The layers come in different textures, colors and sizes. There are also cutouts and embossed pieces.

Step 3: Finish with sentiments and embellishments. These include a variety of goodies from sentiments, bookmarks, buttons, beads, pearls, cutouts and more.

Let’s get started on my card.
First, I chose my base card – a silver A7 (5 inch x 7 inch) card. This is step 1.

Now to add step 2 or the layer. I liked this textured silver layer.

However, I didn’t want to use just one layer. I chose an additional one to add to my card. But first I needed to trim this additional layer to fit the card and sand it to bring out the embossed flowers.

Now to wipe off this layer. I love how the sanding brought out the texture.

After wiping off the sanding, it’s time to attach it to the first layer.

Now I’m ready for step 3 or adding the embellishments. I added a couple border strips.

Now to trim the border strips to fit the card.

Let’s add another embellishment – a tag.

Adding the sentiment.

And I just had to add a few pearls.

And now the finished card.

And here are a few other cards and bookmarks I made with the David Tutera Paper Crafts Celebrate line.

What first impressed me with this card line was the quality of the paper stock. And in addition to offering a variety of base card sizes, they come in lots of colors. The layers have to be my favorite part of this line as I absolutely love all of the embossed and textured pieces. They could easily be added to journal pages or even used as rubbing plates. The cutouts could be used as stencils. But the fact that I can grab three packages of steps and throw a quality card together in no time – that’s the best!
As I mentioned, the David Tutera Paper Crafts will be in Jo-Ann’s Stores soon.
