Our Australian trip involved a lot – let me say that again – a lot of flying. Once we reached LA (that took two flights) the journey to Melbourne was a 15-hour flight. That gave me plenty of time to sleep, eat, read, play cards, and create. Then we flew to each of our five locations before heading home. Again, lots of flying!!
I took my Ipad on this trip and before we left I found this great app – Paper. It reminds me of Etch-A-Sketch, but much more sophisticated! Here are just a few of the drawings I created.

Those are just a few that I drew while on our trip. One thing I like about Paper is with the drawing pen I can make thick and thin lines which are difficult for me as a left-hander or because I just can’t seem to hold my pen right. With Paper it is so easy.
Paper is a free app, but you do need to buy the add-ons to really have fun. I’d highly recommend it and no mess to contend with.
There was another app I used while we were in Australia that helped me to document our trip for our scrapbook. I’ll share that with you later. Thanks for dropping by.
Great paintings, Lynda! I bet the iPad was a fun compact tool to have with you on the long journey.

Kathy, Thanks! It was so much fun to use on the airplane. Also, great way to check out restaurants and to keep touch with home.
I love seeing what others are doing with the app. Your sketches are great.
