Sunday inside stroll

Seems like a long time since I’ve stopped by here to add a post. This month has really flown by and even though I’ve not posted, I’ve been busy. Here’s a little what I’ve been doing.

Lots of ice dyeing going on in my warm dye studio.

This is one of the scarves from one of those sessions.

Ace stopped long enough for me to get a glamour shot of him. Isn’t he a handsome guy?

A friend asked me to make a scarf for her sister-in-law in blues. Sure hope her sil likes it.

The joint project (wood and fabric) with hubby is coming along. I worked on part of my section yesterday. I am happy to report that my Brother played nicely with me. There was no screaming, pulling out my hair, or anything. I even changed threads several times and she still sewed along perfectly! I also love those LED lights I bought for the machine. I can actually see what I’m doing now!

My scarves have a prominent display area at Ellis and Knight Curated Goods. This shop is located at 1015 Lincoln Avenue in Evansville, Indiana. It’s a big old beautiful house. The local art fits perfectly. If you are local or in the area, stop by and see all of the beautiful art.

Yesterday after working on our project I put on my embroidery hoop so I could work today on another joint project with Dave – an ornament.

Next week, in addition to the regular stuff going on here, I’ll be spending Tuesday baking Biscotti. I usually bake a couple batches this time of the year, but this year I plan to make much more. Then on Thursday I will be teaching my Easy and Fun Silk Scarf Dyeing class to some of the members at Gilda’s Club. The week ends with my volunteer gig at the local thrift store.

Hope your week is filled with good health and some creative time.
