I love playing with fabric and today I’ll show you how to make this bracelet.

For this Triple Fabric Bracelet I used some of my sun printed fabric from this post.
Let’s get started! Cut fabric 2″ x 23″ or the length it takes to wind around your wrist three times. Cut fusible same length but half the width. Iron one side of the fusible to the wrong side of the fabric strip. Now is the time to do any hand stitching you want on the right side of the fabric with the fusible web attached. Sorry, no photo! Then iron the other side of the fabric to the fusible making a long strip of fabric/stabilizer sandwich. Now machine stitch around the complete strip of fabric. Attach snap fastener and you are done. This is a fun way to use up some of those scraps. It’s also neat how the bracelet looks different depending on how you loop it around your wrist.
If you make one of these I’d love to see yours. I see more of those in my future. Thanks for dropping by.
Lookin good!
These look fun and easy, Lynda! I can think of some neat ways to embellish… not thrilled with the snap for closure, but that’s ’cause I hate sewing on snaps! I wonder how it would work with an elastic loop and button or velcro dots? BTW, was the interfacing heavy duty?
Judy, This was the first time I’ve used a snap. You don’t sew these, just hammer them. Really easy. You could use an elastic loop or buttonhole (something I won’t attempt!). The interfacing was what I’d call medium – not heavy duty but not light like Misty Fuse. I don’t know which one I used since I have them in a big drawer all mixed up!! But again, it was medium weight.
Ronda, Thanks.
