A couple weeks ago when I drove to Paducah, Kentucky to pick up my new Juki, I stopped by Hancock’s for some Paducah inspiration.
I spent almost two hours just looking at all of the beautiful fabric. What I found and brought home were pictures that have inspired me. Here are just a few that are encouraging me to get out my soy wax.
I don’t even like owls, but love this print.
Before leaving, I stopped by Ephemera Paducah. This is a really neat mixed media store that hosts a variety of workshops.
I have forgotten to show you our finished kitchen makeover. We love our new countertops and floor. We even like how our old cabinets look better with the crown molding, lattice work on the cabinet above the microwave, and appliance garage gone. I also added new hardware. The first picture is the before and after. The second also shows the flooring – vinyl planks.
Dave added better light bulbs in the light fixtures in the ceiling, and it’s a whole new kitchen!
Now that I’ve gotten so much inspiration my trip to Paducah I need to get out to the dye studio and play. I sure hope some of these pictures have inspired you too.
Thanks for the eye candy from Paducah! And I love your kitchen makeover.
Sherrie, Thanks!
