Another year has flown by, and it’s time to list my best of 2021 tutorials. In case you missed any of them, I’ve included links to tutorials above the pictures. You also can find all of my tutorials under the Tutorials tab at the top of the page.
I started this year off with Making Embellishments from a photograph. I even ended up putting some of these coneflowers on my kitchen curtain.
This one was so much fun – making a snippet roll.
Another popular and a tutorial I loved from this year was making scrappy fabric.
Then there is the tutorial on making cheesecloth word skins. However, you could use rubber stamps instead of writing.
I really enjoyed revisiting soy wax batik. Check out the post here.
It was so much fun getting back into sun printing and comparing Dye-Na-Flow and Setacolors.
From my site stats, Sun Printing Fabric with Dye-na-Flow is again the most popular post. I wrote this back in 2012. This year, since I get so much traffic to this post, I added an update at the top of the post referring the readers to my Sun Printing tutorial page and also the above post.
I really like being able to look at my stats and see what my readers are reading. If you are interested in other tutorials, go to the top of the page to the Tutorials tab. The drop down menu will show all of the categories of tutorials on this site. Choose a category, and you’ll see all of the ones in that category (unless I forgot to list it!!).
Thanks for dropping by.
You have had a very creative adventure again this year, CONGRATULATIONS!
I’m sure 2022 will bring tutorials where you revisit some past passion, or 2, or 3,,, and new adventures that haven’t crossed your creative list yet. I’ll continue to be inspired by you.
Have a wonderful Christmas and we’ll catch up in the new year as our ‘next adventure’ unfolds.
Luann, Thank you for continuing to follow my journey. Wishing you health, some fun, and creativity in the new year.
You are so talented, and inspiring.
KJ, Thank you. My goal is to inspire and encourage others to play. Thanks for your sweet words and for reading my blog.
Thank you for sharing your experiments, tutorials, art, and joy of creating. I appreciate all the time and energy it takes for you to share your adventures. You always inspire me and prod me off the couch and out creating. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Wishing you the happiest of holiday seasons and creative exuberance in 2022! Cheers!
Jeannie, Thank you so much for your comment. It really made my day. Thank you also for reading my blog. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and yours, and may we all have a creative 2022.
